1. plan-ed.org

• http://www.plan-ed.org is an online resource network of national curriculum related projects for teachers and students in the UK.
• Users can explore video clips, photos, opinions and ideas from young people across the globe.
• Teachers can use clearly targeted lesson plans and activity sheets to bring the world alive in their classrooms.
• Plan-ed.org provides files on countries and the development issues facing them.

The website launched on Monday 15 January 2007 with a PR campaign to encourage large-scale teacher support for the project.

2. THE WEBSITE BUILD

• The website was produced in various stages with different organisations working on various parts.
• The Graphic design for the site was produced by the Whole Hog Design Co - http://www.piggy.co.uk.
• I AM HUMAN produced the html templates for the site and was tasked in developing a fully searchable repository of media at a separate url - http://www.plan-edresources.org - including Audio, Video, Photos and PDF files.
• The templates were constructed by Plan International Headquarters.
• I AM HUMAN also manages hosting services for http://www.plan-edresources.org.
• http://www.plan-edresources.org includes back-end admin control to upload, tag and update media is an intuitive and branded web interface. plan-edresources.org was built using a combination of Code Ignitor, a PHP framework, with MySql database.
• I AM HUMAN are very proud to be involved in a project of this nature and will continue to offer support in maintaining a world - class education resource.
• I AM HUMAN worked closely with Sebenza Systems in producing their remit.
