I AM HUMAN designs, builds and launches photomonth website - www.photomonth.org

In its sixth year, photomonth is London’s largest photography festival. With more than two months of exhibitions and events across 80 venues in East London, it demonstrates the true diversity of contemporary photography.

I AM HUMAN was commissioned to design and build photomonth’s first ever website. The result is a brand new, fresh-looking and exciting online presence. Photomonth.org has an intuitive interface and extra functionality including a diary of events, calendar and listing. Users can also browse through a gallery of photos and apply to take part in the festival's Photo Open.

photomonth is a database-driven site with an admin CSM facility to update and edit diary, calendar, listing and gallery.

With an international line-up of established and emerging photographers, photomonth offers a comprehensive programme of exhibitions, talks and events designed to promote interest and participation in contemporary photography and focus attention on the changing face of East London. Exhibitions reveal large scale installations, constructed images, panoramic pinhole photography of the Western Sahara, fashion photography from Magnum, cinema banner painters in Bangladesh, elderly Eastenders from the Somali, Bengali, Jewish and Caribbean communities, children’s dreams, drug abuse and a host of other artwork.

Shoot photomonth launches the festival which opens with the first Photo-Open at the Art Pavilion. Anna Fox gives the photomonth Lecture and the Portfolio Reviews take place over two days at the Whitechapel. The photomonth Seminar Photographing the East End is at the Rich Mix and Stephen Gill conducts photo-tours around Hackney Wick.

IAH is a member of Ethical Junction and has a history of designing and building websites for the public and charity sectors as well as blue chip brands. IAH works regularly with Mencap and Plan International and has worked with many other organisations including Solar Century, The Department of Health, The Employer’s Organisation, The British Heart Foundation, Visit London, Hewlett Packard, Harley-Davidson, Eurostar and Virgin...

The website launched on Friday 24th of August in conjunction with the print campaign of brochures and VIP invitations.
